Date: June 23, 2005
BARBADOS' DRAUGHTS ACE Ronald "Suki" King is on the way to securing another major international title.
With four rounds of matches left on the final two days, King leads the United States National Championships ahead of his nemesis Alex Moiseyev of the United States. The tournament is being played in Dublin, Ohio. King had two draws yesterday to move to 23 points and remained confident of taking the competition, which is being played in Go-As-You-Please. "I will win, there will be no doubt about that," he said. "I don't expect any problems and I am fully equipped to handle the opponents." |
